In MUSIC EXPLORATION CLASS, you will be is immersed in interactive technology to learn about music. Computer lessons will help you learn the fundamentals of music. You will also be learning about modern techniques of composing music on computers. No formal music training or special technical skills are required. Throughout the course, you will create lots of tracks of music! You will be able to save these “MP3” files on a flash drive. In addition to individual music learning on computers, there will be "in class" performances featuring a variety of percussion instruments. Playing on these instruments will reinforce what is learned about rhythm and will involve both large group and small group experiences. There might even be opportunities for you to be involved in some of our Chorus or Band performances here at Peasley!
